Law of averages

In all our home games this season I don't believe we have scored 3 and won a home game , we scored 3 past Bournemouth and lost . So every game from now until the end of the season I'm backing west ham score 3 on betfair you will get a good price.

Well andy I am going to double it up each game between now and the end if the season we gotta get at least 3 goals in one of those games.

If the law of averages was correct we would get about 4 penalties between now and the end of the season

The law of averages doesn't really apply to the past tense. We aren't more likely to score 3 in any of the next 3 games just because we haven't in the first 15.

If you were to say at the start of the season that you'll back us to score 3 goals in a home game because the law of averages says we will then that would make sense, but to do it just because we haven't managed it to date isn't quite right.

That said, I hope we do!

We beat Lusitans and West Ham XI at home...
We haven't scored 12 goals in a game and won yet so maybe that's worth a few quid.
